Carlee Farm | Stylized Shoot - Wedding Hair | Oxford, NC

At rustic Carlee Farm, a relatively new wedding venue, I was working with very straight and soft, fine hair on a blistering, hot day. To withstand the heat, I recommended updos so their hair would stay beautiful throughout the day.

I prepped the blonde bride's hair using dry shampoo to add volume and texture and absorb any oils and sweat caused by the heat of day. Then I curled, sprayed, and pinned, adding a lovely braid on one side for contrast and pinning up some curls underneath.

For the bride with softer, dark hair I prepped and twisted it into a bun, giving her a nice, simple hairstyle that would flatter her features and her dress without having to worry about the heat.

Looking back at the last photos of the day, their hairstyles withstood the heat of the day from the first shot to the last.
