Back in April of 2016, I met Ellie when she modeled for a styled shoot I was involved in for Plume Events. After doing hair for the shoot, she and I hit it off, and she requested I do her hair for her own wedding in May of 2017. Her wedding was actually held at the same location as that very styled shoot! Merry Hill Farm, in Mebane, NC.
Ellie had chosen Kristi Martinson of Wink for her makeup. It is always a pleasure to work with Kristi. We're great friends and our work compliments each other.
During her trial, she explained how she wanted something classic, which would compliment her veil and headpiece which was fashioned out of lace trim. Ellie was concerned about not having very thick hair, but we gave her all the volume and lift needed to create the perfect updo for her special day!
Yvonne, the mother of the bride had the same idea in mind. A classic updo.
Let's not forget the bridesmaids! Ellie chose to have her girls styled with their hair down in various, yet simple styles.
